Preparation Tips

New to preparing these ready-to-eat meals? Here’s how to cook them using the included flameless heaters:

Open the box and pull out the flameless heater bag.
Tear open the flameless heater bag, then slip the packaged meal inside.
Add enough water to reach the fill line. Be sure not to overfill.
Fold over the top of the flameless heater bag, then reinsert it into the box it came in. (The bag will heat up quickly, so act fast!)
Place the box at a slight incline, such as perched against a rock or tree.
Allow it to sit and cook for 5-10 minutes.
Once cooked, remove the flameless heater bag from the box. Both the box and packaged meal should be warm to the touch.
Tear open the tabs on the packaged meal and dig in!
